We Are Knitters The Wool Yarnicorn Review
I have another We Are Knitters Yarn Review for you today. I am really enjoying their more unique colorways and it has been super fun trying out new yarns. Today, I will be reviewing the We Are Knitters The Wool in Yarnicorn. If you are interested, you can also get $12 off with code MGMAWTBZJ.
This yarn is $29 for 200 GR/87 yards. This is a chunky 100% Andean Highlands Wool. Made in Peru. They recommend at lease size 10mm knitting needles. Overall, this is a soft wool yarn, but is itchy if up against the skin for too long.
This yarn is super unique and I think the price for it is actually great. You can almost knit an entire scarf with one skein and because it is so thick, you can knit something super quick. I love the squishiness/thickness of the yarn. I also think the quality is really nice. There is no splitting and no ties in the skein. However, I do recommend being careful not to pull out the stitches too many times because it can start to shed. The finished product is also pretty fuzzy (as shown in the photo below). However, I am obsessed with the colorway, Yarnicorn is so unique. It looks like cotton candy, but not in a childish way. They also offer yarnicorn in The Petite Wool (click to check out my review) if you are looking for a thinner weight yarn.
I do definitely recommend this yarn, especially if you choose one of the more unique colorways. The quality is very nice and you do get a lot for the price. I will also be posting a knit scarf pattern very soon, so stay tuned! I am also planning to continue to post yarn reviews, so comment below on which yarns I should try out. Thank you for reading!
